LOCATION 1 - ABANDONDED FLATS (THAMESMEAD)
The abandoned flats are going to be used for the texture shots in the beginning of the trailer. We will show pieces of human bodies on the floor and blood on the broken windows. The location is already derelict and dirty with broken glass and wood everywhere which will add to the horror trailer aspect. With the right lighting and camera angles this could be the perfect horror scene.
Date: Sunday 12th November
Time: NIGHT Location: BEXELY ERITH PASSAGE Time allowed for filming: ALL DAY Actors/Crew: All Cast and Crew Props, Costume, Make-up: FAKE BLOOD, SCARS, CUTS Equipment Required: DSLR CAMERA. TRIPOD, LIGHTS Storyboard Shot Ref No.: 1 - 9 |
Date: Saturday 25th November
Time: MIDDAY Location: BECKENHAM PALACE Time allowed for filming: 2 HOURS Actors/Crew: All Cast and Crew Props, Costume, Make-up: FAKE BLOOD, SCARS, CUTS Equipment Required: DSLR CAMERA. TRIPOD, LIGHTS Storyboard Shot Ref No.: 20 - 30 As a group we decided that the best locations were Deptford Police Station, the abandoned flats in southmere and possibly Beckenham House. They are all ideal for the haunted/abandoned house idea of our horror trailer. We will most likely use all three with Beckenham and Deptford being our primary shooting locations. Each location will have about 20 seconds of screen time in our trailer.

RISK ASSESSMENT
There is the small risk of broken glass and pieces of wood outside the property, which could be harmful to cast and crew. To fix this we have decided to clean up some of the debris and film in places where there is little to non. In addition there is the risk of damaging the filming equipment as the location is a flat and requires going up slippery and old flights of stairs and wood. To rectify this we have decided to only take up the essential equipment and only bring up the cast and crew that are specifically needed at the time. This will minimise the amount of risk and hopefully reduce and injuries.
When filming on a ledge such as this there is always the risk of cast and crew falling or slipping. To stop this we have decided to make the cast and crew wear non slip shoes as well as minimise the amount of time they spend there. Since we will be filming at night there is unlikely scenario of animals roaming the building or living inside the building, for example; fox’s, rats and cats. I we see any animals we would be required to inform the owner of the flat and they would rectify the situation.
LOCATION RECCE SHEET
The permission for the location is a conditional permission. As the site is a abandoned the contact clearly stated that he would like to know exactly what scenes and what activities would be going on in the premises before she gave permission. He also said we may not be able to do all of or filming in the flat as it is scheduled to demolish soon so some parts of it are dangerous. The contact has been informed of the time and date we will be going their and has charged us nothing for the location.

LOCATION 2 - ABANDONDED GARAGE (SOUTHMERE)
The southmere abandoned garage is a location that will be used for our montage shots. This location however is a place where more of the gruesome bloody murder scenes can be filmed if needed. The location is quite dark and will require additional lighting to create the effect we desire. The garage is also very worn down, dirty and decrepit making it perfect for our horror trailer. There are also two more garages available for us to use giving us a range of choice and allowing us to choose the best location for our trailer. To create the best atmosphere and mood for our trailer we will be using a mixture of low and high angle shoots, as well as other camera shots techniques to increase the fear factor of the trailer. Since this will be used for our montage shots we will also be using a few different place.
RISK ASSESSMENT
There is the small risk of pieces of wood on the floor harming one of the cast and crew. This is easily fixed by the removal of such pieces, otherwise there is not much risk in the garage.
The are some spikes and wire fencing around the gates leading to the garage that may cause some harm. This should not be a problem and the location will be open to us by the site manger. The site is relatively safe and the only other risk are the insects who can be easily dispatched.
LOCATION RECCE SHEET
The location has no lights or heating which add to the horror atmosphere. The location we giving to us on a conditional basis that we would not break or damage anything in the garage. The location was given to us for free as the location is not used for anything at the moment. The contact has beeen informed of what we will be filming and has given us one afternoon to film.

LOCATION 3 - erith FIELD PATH (lesnes abbey)
Erith Field Path is a field and walkway leading Lesnes Abbey. It is quiet and secluded and requires no permission to film in. The area also has some woods which can be used for our textures and montage shots. The area is free to use and can be used all day. It is dark and claustrophobic and a unique place to film in.
RISK ASSESSMENT
There is the small risk of certain camera equipment or perhaps even crew and cast tripping over the raised platform that is the entrance to the church. If either of the two were to trip over the platform then they could hurt themselves and the equipment would perhaps even be damaged if it fell from a high enough height, thus we will make sure that all crew and cast members as well as all equipment are properly entered within the building if the need arises by lifting equipment above the ledge and watching where we step. Although, this being said, this is the only raised platform within the building and so this risk is not of large importance.
